Beachhouse Restaurant funded by First Capital Finance |
First Capital Finance, the South Coast’s leading Asset Finance broker, was the first port of call for local award winning restaurant chain, Gretcorp Ltd |

When Gretcorp Ltd required
funding for two of their restaurants, the new Beachhouse
at Mudeford Spit and The Boathouse Café & Restaurant
at Christchurch Quay. First Capital Finance organised
£80,000 of funding for the Group to kit out the
two restaurants with kitchen equipment, furniture and
EPOS.
Working in a similar way to an Insurance Broker, First
Capital Finance used its panel of over 30 finance houses
and banks to find the best rates and funding structure
for Gretcorp. This has provided the company with competitive
rates and flexible repayment periods as well as one local
point of contact. “First
Capital Finance took over all our funding arrangements
and not only organised finance quickly but also made things
very easy for us” says Alistair Evans, Director
of Gretcorp Ltd. “Everything was concluded in one
meeting and we received far better terms than the bank
was able to offer”.
The Beach House, purchased earlier this year, brings to
four the number of restaurants now owned by Gretcorp in
the area. The company also runs the Soho Café Bar
in Christchurch High Street and The River Park at West
Parley. Gretcorp restaurants are renowned throughout the
area for their freshly prepared food. The company’s
Boathouse Café & Restaurant this year won “Best
Restaurant in Christchurch” and it’s
Soho Café Bar was awarded runner up for the “Best
Coffee Shop” in the area. “We
will soon be announcing a further acquisition and we will
definitely be using First Capital Finance to fund the
equipment”, concluded Alistair Evans.
